concept: A modeled, character rigged, and animated domestic quadruped cat that features various systems to allow it to move. It features a mental ray rendered displacement map, a twist/bend controlled flexi system for the vertebrae and neck, setting up a node network for squash and stretch, building joints to deform the front legs, hind legs, pelvis, tail, scapulae, ears, and thorax, skinning, created corrective targets for the deltoids, created pose trackers, added IK systems including a spring solver for back legs, created blend shapes for the deltoid muscles.
